Kate Marmion School of Public Health honors naming, first graduating class

Twenty-three students will become the first graduates of the Kate Marmion School of Public Health at The University of Texas at San Antonio to cross the stage, just days after the university formally celebrated the school's naming on May 13, 2026. Made possible by a $30 million investment from the Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation, the school is educating the next generation of public health professionals who will benefit the health of communities across South Texas. With MPH and MD/MPH programs already underway and a doctoral degree planned, the foundation's generous commitment to the school is is expanding faculty, student support and community-based work in underserved regions
